Butterfly and flowerThese are the core goals that drive Lucy Bickers’ counseling services, whether working with individual clients, providing coaching, presenting workplace enrichment or offering executive continuing education.

Developing the ability to examine your current situation, identify your feelings and why they exist at that moment, and expressing them in an appropriate manner are valuable tools to effect change. Learning specific, perhaps even new, skills can improve relationships with various family members, in the workplace environment, supervisory settings, or any situation that involves interaction with another person.

Specific skills may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Improving Communication Skills
  • Anger Management
  • Problem Solving
  • Identifying and Coping with Different Emotions, such as depression, anxiety and anger

Exploring your strengths, including some that you may not be aware of, may help you find solutions to the various challenges you face in your life.

Looking at the whole puzzle that is your life or work, and then addressing the small pieces which are easier to deal with, may help you develop new coping skills that can improve your life.
